Company Process Valley’s Rebuild
departments have developed a thorough and consistent approach to customer
satisfaction based on the following process:
Identification:
Core exchanges or returns are first identified by model, part, and
serial numbers, which are documented on a work order along with the name and
account number of the customer. The information is entered into a database
and is cross referenced to the original unit purchased. This process insures
a “like for like” match. If there are discrepancies the customer is notified
of the concern: (Mismatched units can affect the overall life of the
transmission).
Cause of Failure:
All core returns are completely disassembled and issued a “Cause of
Failure” document. This is a very important process. If the Cause of Failure
is externally related: (Shock Load, Driveline vibration, engine or abusive
operation), we disclose to the customer the Cause of Failure. Upon request
the old parts and cause of failure document is sent to the customer.
Remanufacturing:
After Disassembly, all parts are thoroughly cleaned in the state of
the art sonic cleaner. All Seals, Gaskets, Bearings, Bushings, and Friction
clutches are disposed of and the remaining qualified parts are instrumented
to meet Allison Transmissions rebuilt specifications and updated needs.
Replacement parts are OEM certified and the original core retains its
identity: (assuring no mass teardowns and units rebuilt from left over’s)
Dynamometer Tested:
All rebuilt units are thoroughly tested for pressure flow, leaks
and gauged to Allison testing specifications. The results are documented and
available upon request from the customer purchasing the rebuilt unit. Only
after successfully passing the Quality Assurance Testing process is the unit
added to inventory for sale.
